Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2007

Looks like a young wine with a translucent colour. Initial attack is not sweet at all but it lacks fruit and it is not very approachable. The wood is a little too insistent. 2-3 years in oak barrels gives this wine a substantial foundation. Grapes: 30% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 30% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta, Negrara, Dindarella, Rossignola.
