Made from 100% Chardonnay fermented in oak barrels for 8 months matured for not less than 36 months in the bottle on the yeasts. It has a pale straw colour and is not hugely aromatic although there are some pleasant plum and peach aromas. Fine bubbles producing a restrained effervescent. Typical Franciacorta terroir flavours on the palate but ultimately lacking any real depth or complexity even if well made and characteristicly smooth. Enjoyable nonetheless.
