Once again this wine was affected by a lack of consistency in the samples provided. I had to go to a 2nd bottle to find the kind of quality I would expect from this domaine. The wine had a gentle nose, round with good fruit and balanced tannins. It lacked the harsher tannins presented by some of the other wines from the Appellation and shows some promise. So, a rather better wine altogether but one can't help feeling that the wines from the Graves/Pessac suffered more than most in 2011.
