Yellow gold colour. Buttery and smooth. Good depth and length with a rounder complexion than usual. Much of these characteristics coming from the larger proportion of Pinot Noir used that year. A challenging year for any Champagne producer with a severe winter and frosts in the spring followed by the legendary canicular summer. Not the powerhouse Dom Perignon beloved by so many but a lovely Champagne with lots of elegance.
Disgorged June 2010.
