Pale gold colour. Lovely, slightly bready nose - classic Champagne. Deep and complex flavours with lots of citrus. Some present acidity. Long, powerful and dry. Appears riper than 2002 also more complex and despite this the dosage is actually less, not much more than 7g/litre. However, there is slightly more Chardonnay in the blend (only 1%) which appears to make an enormous difference
