Perfumed nose. Some fruit here. Persistent tannins but ripe. No real faults but struggles to capture any real joie de vivre.
However, there is some elegance on offer. A 2nd tasting in May proved somewhat similar albeit a hint of green had crept into the finish which was probably from the oak - the élévage will tell.
