Jarrett Leplin is Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. He specializes in the philosophy of science and epistemology, and is the author of three books and approximately 90 articles and papers. He is a graduate of Amherst College and earned his PhD at the University of Chicago. Leplin's interest in wine originated with a junior year abroad at the University Bordeaux under an exchange program with the University of California. He co-authored the article entitled
