Amongst the numerous prestigious wineries in the Langhe it may seem rather bizarre to highlight that of Parusso, but, in the scope of a discovery of producers who distinguish themselves by a very personal approach Parusso should definitely be on the list. Aligned in the 1990s, to the emerging style at the time of modern Barolo, the wines of Marco Parusso have in the last few years developed a style based on a much more scrupulous attention to vinification and rearing in barrels. His Baroli, coming from the cru Bussia, Coste Mosconi and Mariondino, show very clear-cut rather distinct exotic aromas, coupled with an elegance on the palate and a superb tannic finesse.
