Pale gold. Pineapple and honey on the nose. Lovely perlage. Very smooth. Burnt flavours (from the oak doubtless) which are attractive. Round. Complex and original wine. Grand Cru Chardonnay from old vines older than 50 years aged in oak. The Champagne was not filtered. Did not have MLF. Aged 48 months.
