Deep colour. Some chicory coffee on the nose. Better form and projection than many wines tasted from St-Emilion. Good fruit, long persistence, improving tannins. However, suggestion that MLF is not quite complete perhaps on account of the cold Spring - certainly the tastings for the en primeur this year would have benefited from a few weeks delay. Year: 2011 Appellation: St Emilion Bordeaux France Designation: Grand Cru Class Colour: red Score: 91/100 Note 1Date tasted: April, 2012
