Biscuity gold colour. Very fine perlage. Toasty flavours on the nose. Fine and elegant with bitter almond taste. The wine has a very good structure. Dry with good acidity. The balance is excellent. Some burnt flavours but these are more biscuity than carbonised. Two thirds Durella one third Chardonnay (specific percentages differ yearly according to the harvest). Aged for 18 months on the lees. Bottled: 4/6/2008. Disg'd: 28/4/11
