Benjamin Zidarich is one of the major producers of the Carso, above Trieste, in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. His choice of working – biodynamic viticulture, using local yeasts, grape maceration (whether white or red), preferring to research the naturalness of wines which express the solid and original character of the territory – these are his trademarks. From Vitovska to Malvasia, Terrano to Prulke (a blend of Sauvignon, Vitovska and Malvasia), Zidarich's wines demonstrate an admirable aromatic precision and singular taste, expressing the typical salinity of the Carso.
