Pesticides found in wine

The organisation Que Choisir tested 92 different wines (red, white, rosés, organic, 'bio') from around France and found that none of the samples were free of traces of pesticides: whatever the cru or the organic status. They even discovered traces of substances which are prohibited in France. However, all the samples tested showed their levels were below safety thresholds although there are no prescribed safety levels for bottles of wine but only for wine in vats.
