Rauzan-Segla 2011

Lovely colour with some purple tinge suggesting a level of maturity not present in some of the other wines. The nose struggles to convey what follows. Definitely lots of fruit and the tannins are powerfully aligned in the background. A wine which suggests some real promise for the future. A second sample at the Bibendum tasting a month later confirmed the outlook - good balance overall and very attractive.
